MacSlimber is a local macOS utility. We designed it so your data never leaves your machine.
Data collection
MacSlimber does not collect analytics, crash reports or usage data, and includes no telemetry SDKs. The app goes online only to check for updates and, if you activate Pro, to verify your license.
Files on your Mac
The app reads file metadata (paths and sizes) to show reclaimable space. It only deletes files you explicitly select. No file contents are uploaded or shared.
Pro license
When you buy Pro, Lemon Squeezy processes the payment and shares your email address, order number and license key with us so we can deliver and verify the key. We send the key to your email through Resend, our email provider. When you activate, the app sends the key and your Mac's name; we store them with the activation date to enforce the 3-Mac limit. On your Mac the key is kept in the Keychain. Removing a Mac in Settings deletes its activation.
Website
This marketing site may use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to measure page views and download clicks. No personal information is sold to third parties.
